Hello everyone and happy Monday to you all!!! Laurel here to welcome to another Lawnscaping Challenge! Today's challenge is all about TEXTURE! Who doesn't love texture! Embossing, glitter, glossy accents, flocking, felt, embellishments, wood... The sky is the limit as far as texture goes! And that is our challenge to you! Create a project using TEXTURE!

A big huge THANK YOU to Simon Says Stamp for sponsoring our challenge! They have generously offered up a $25 gift certificate to their online store! I LOVE Simon Says Stamp!!!!! They are a great company housed with some amazing people!

We also welcome our fabulous guest designer for the month of October! She is outta this world awesome and I have actually had the honor of meeting her in person at CHA in Chicago. SOOOOO sweet!  We indulged in peanut butter cookies made by Nette! Please say hello to Lisa Spangler!

Lisa resides inAustin, Tx with her husband Jason and two goldfish, Smiley and Woodfin. When she is not stamping, she enjoys hiking, riding her road bike or mountain bike, photographing native plants and working to preserve Texas prairies.  She started stamping during graduate school in 1994. In 2005, Lisa was invited to created card samples for the Hero Arts catalog. It was such fun that she left her job as a software engineer to work for Hero Arts full time.

And here is her fabulous creation, featuring tons of texture!  Embossing, fabric, glossy accents and black enamel to name a few! This card just made me smile, instantly!

Also joining us as a guest designer for this challenge is Anastasia Teologlou. She used dry embossing, flocking and glossy accents on her super cute card!

Now let's check out what the rest of the design team made! Be sure to click on each of the names to be taken to their blogs so you can get more deets on the projects!

Aren't they all just fantastic?!? I am always blown away by each of their unique styles and talent! And the attention to detail they put on their creations is amazing!

  8. Just saw the rule about only allowing to have 3 challenges for entry. Oh well guess I hardly ever enter that few with one entry.
